Coach Jem the first-ever and still the only MAPEH major who made it in the LET’s Top Ten (March 2018). He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of the East, Bachelor of Secondary Education, MAPEH. During his senior year in college, he was a Japan-Asia Exchange Student at the Soka University of Japan. He also volunteered as teacher at the Japanese Miyagi Recovery Facility.

Prior to taking the LET, he worked as Training and Development Specialist at the Philippine Seven Corporation, and was a Content Developer of Quipper, an online learning platform.

After the LET, he taught senior high school students and was their choir master at the University of the East. He began coaching MAPEH majors at MindGym in 2018 resulting in unexpectedly commendable passing rates.

For RevYou Hub’s 2020 Content Development Project, he has been in charge of materials for Facilitating Learning Child and Adolescent Development. He also upgraded the review center’s MAPEH power workbook. He is the lead coach for this LET ProfEd module and the MAPEH group.

Coach Jem, as he is called by his students, is a gem not only in the classroom but also in the kitchen. He loves cooking.
